Thermal Imaging

Thermal Imaging is one component of AMTS’s complete service package.

What does thermal imaging mean?

Thermal imaging measures surface temperatures using the infrared spectrum, then creates a temperature map across an object to help visualize the temperature profiles across objects.  AMTS has experience across industries with thermal imaging to provide useful analysis of gathered temperature information.

Benefits of Thermal Imaging

  1. Measures high temperatures at a safe distance (up to 2700 °F/1500 °C)
  2. Locates hot spots before serious refractory loss or runout.
  3. Thermal assessment/heat loss
  4. Monitors conditions over time with alarm temperatures
